Three Short Stories is a set of electroacoustic miniatures. Short electronic pieces that still retain a sense of beginning, growth, and closure are a compositional challenge. The three electronic miniatures presented here are approximately a minute in length. Each piece is a musical representation of a distinct situation or event. This might be a conversational fragment or a transitory emotion. The short stories are not to be taken as separate movements to a larger work, but rather as individual electronic miniatures that stand on their own.
